• Procurement of components and systems in the field of passenger information systems and train control
• Independent handling of the entire procurement process from inquiry through negotiation to invoice approval
• Identification, selection, development, and qualification of suppliers to ensure a reliable and sustainable supply chain
• Analysis and optimisation of cost structures in close cooperation with engineering, production, and suppliers
• Monitoring and ensuring stock levels, delivery dates, delivery performance, and relevant purchasing key figures
• Support in drafting contracts to ensure competitive prices, conditions, and delivery terms
• Participation in cross-departmental projects as well as active shaping of procurement strategies
• International business trips (approx. 10%)

• Completed technical, commercial, or business administration training with appropriate further education or a completed degree
• Proven professional experience in purchasing within an industrial company, preferably in the environment of technical products or systems
• Demonstrated negotiation success with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Fluent German and English skills, both spoken and written
• Very good knowledge of ERP systems, preferably SAP
• Independent, structured, and goal-oriented working style as well as strong communication skills
