At Agathon, we train young people in various professions and are looking for a dedicated Head of Vocational Training Mechanics to introduce our apprentices to the world of mechanics.
These are your tasks:
- Managing the training workshop
- Conducting basic and specialised training for apprentices in manual and conventional manufacturing technology as well as CNC manufacturing technology, including inter-company courses
- Planning and conducting partial and final apprenticeship examinations
- Budget and cost centre responsibility
- Coordination with the specialist departments
- Recruitment of apprentices including conducting career explorations and trial apprenticeships
- Planning and conducting various vocational training events
This is what you bring:
- A completed apprenticeship as a polymechanic EFZ or a comparable qualification
- Further training as an inter-company course (ÜK) leader in the main profession or willingness to complete this
- Several years of experience in vocational training, ideally related to the machine industry
- High social competence, pronounced didactic skills and joy in imparting knowledge
- Leadership experience
- Entrepreneurial, networked and solution-oriented thinking
- Patience, empathy and teamwork are also among your strengths
