Job Description

As a care and support assistant, you will care for patients of all ages. Under the supervision of nursing staff, you will provide basic care and support, offering constant assistance while developing and fostering human relationships.

You will also participate in organising daily activities to ensure their physical, psychological, and social well-being. You will provide support and assistance in patients’ daily living activities and in supporting their families.

You will be responsible for cleaning tasks in the patient’s immediate environment and contribute to their safety by adhering to current hygiene and asepsis regulations.

You will actively participate in preventing complications related to hospitalisation in collaboration with other healthcare professionals (pain management, pressure sore prevention, fall prevention, etc.).

Qualifications

You must hold a Federal Certificate of Vocational Education and Training (AFP) as a care and support assistant (ASA) or an equivalent diploma recognised by the Swiss Red Cross, or a French state nursing assistant diploma accompanied by the Swiss Red Cross recognition certificate. You should have professional experience in healthcare, ideally in a hospital setting, and be fully proficient in French, both spoken and written.

You demonstrate the ability to support patients throughout their hospital journey and can quickly adapt to changing work rhythms.

You show a welcoming and communicative attitude and have the ability to work within an interdisciplinary team. Your team spirit, creativity, organisational skills, and foresight enable you to position yourself as a true care partner.
