To strengthen our railway service team, we are looking for a strong leadership personality as Site Manager Railway Service for the location Gränichen starting on October 1, 2025 or by arrangement.
Your tasks
- You are responsible for the professional and personnel management as well as the work allocation of the employees
- You support the realization of infrastructure projects in the areas of track, civil, and structural engineering
- You ensure the entire maintenance of the railway and ancillary facilities of the WSB
- You ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations regarding the construction and maintenance of track work and are responsible for the implementation of occupational safety and health protection
- You collaborate with companies, authorities, municipalities, and customers
Your profile
- Track construction foreman with federal certificate or equivalent training
- Several years of proven leadership experience and professional experience in the field of track construction and maintenance
- Driving license category B.
- Good IT skills and very good German language skills
- Medical fitness according to RTE 20100 (for training as safety manager)
- Willingness for occasional night shifts and on-call duty to ensure railway operations (no shift work)
- Team-oriented, resilient, and self-confident leadership personality with high professional competence
