Welder for Thick Plate Welding with Overhead Welding Experience
Tasks
- Welding thick plates with 30–50 mm material thickness
- Performing fillet welds and V-groove welds
- Welding in various positions, especially overhead
- Working according to technical drawings and welding instructions (WPS)
- Ensuring high welding quality and dimensional accuracy
- Preparation, inspection and reworking of weld seams
Requirements
- Several years of professional experience as a welder
- Very good experience in thick plate welding
- Experience with high-strength steels
- Confident handling of fillet welds, V-groove welds and overhead welding
- Good knowledge of reading technical drawings
- Independent and careful working style
- Quality awareness and reliability
- Valid welding certificates are an advantage
