Cataloguing of all media types (text, image, sound, video/film, archival materials, published, unpublished) Prioritisation and decision-making regarding cataloguing depth Acquisition, management and storage of periodicals (electronic and physical) Recording and management of authority data Participation in professional working groups Project work as required Contact point for contributors in cataloguing projects (interns, volunteers) Professional enquiries (written and by phone) Support and advice for users

Bachelor's degree in library or humanities studies with additional training and initial professional experience or comparable qualifications Certificate in formal and subject cataloguing in Aleph and/or Alma Experience in cataloguing collections high digital affinity independent and reliable working style strong interest in engaging with the cultural history of Appenzell Ausserrhoden
