Our client, Swissfluid AG, develops, produces and distributes worldwide plastic-lined fittings and sampling systems for corrosive applications in the chemical, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, mining as well as paper and pulp industries. It employs around 70 people in Switzerland and, together with its subsidiaries in the USA and China, has a total of approximately 110 employees.

Head of Operational Purchasing 100% (m/f/d)
Your tasks:
- Professional and personnel management of the purchasing team with 3 employees as well as their promotion and further development.
- Overall responsibility for procurement and ensuring an economical, efficient and timely purchasing process in national and international procurement markets (Europe and overseas).
- Ensuring material availability through close cooperation with production planning, production and other internal interfaces.
- Active operational participation in day-to-day business (approx. 70 - 80%) along the entire procurement process, from order placement through checking order confirmations to invoice processing.
- Monitoring delivery dates as well as coordination and organisation of national and international transports.
- Responsibility for checking material certificates, import and customs documents as well as invoice control.
- Maintenance and further development of supplier and material master data in the ERP system.
- Responsibility for purchasing key figures, ensuring budget compliance and identifying cost optimisations.
- Leading and participating in cross-departmental projects as well as continuous optimisation of purchasing processes.
- Completed technical basic training with further education in purchasing, supply chain management or business administration.
- Several years of professional experience in operational purchasing in a manufacturing industrial company.
- Several years of leadership experience as well as enjoyment in developing and promoting employees.
- Negotiation skills, entrepreneurial thinking as well as a pronounced quality and cost awareness.
- Independent, structured and solution-oriented way of working.
- High social competence as well as a respectful and appreciative leadership style.
- Hands-on mentality and willingness to actively take responsibility and work operationally in an SME.
- Very good German and English skills, spoken and written (at least level B2).
- Confident handling of MS Office and ERP systems; knowledge of SelectLine is an advantage.
