Are you already a trained train dispatcher or train traffic controller? Can you keep an overview even with several parallel tasks, communicate clearly and precisely, and bring in your social skills and team spirit? These are your tasks

• You are part of a modern traffic control centre and master the challenges of daily railway operations together with the team.
• You direct and monitor train and shunting movements on the SZU network and ensure safe, compliant, and customer-oriented operations.
• You implement operational closures and safety measures and operate released systems such as overhead line and building control.
• In case of disruptions and incidents, you secure operations, create a verified situation report, alert the responsible authorities, and implement the prescribed measures according to the disruption concept safely.
• You coordinate and communicate respectfully and cooperatively with team colleagues, train staff, as well as construction and shunting personnel.

These are your key competencies

• You have completed training as a train dispatcher or train traffic controller.
• You have a strong safety and quality awareness and work conscientiously, reliably, and independently.
• You think analytically and interconnectedly, quickly recognise operational dependencies, and make considered, comprehensible decisions even under time pressure.
• In demanding situations, you remain calm, set clear priorities, and seek support in good time if necessary.
• You are a team player and communicate clearly, precisely, and respectfully, and have business fluent German skills, both spoken and written.
• You are willing to work in a 7x24 shift system and meet the medical and psychological fitness requirements.

The SZU-specific network and system qualifications are acquired during induction.
