What you will do

In this vital role as a Senior Associate Commercial Analysis you will join the Sales & Marketing Effectiveness Team in our Swiss Affiliate. The main purpose of the job is to provide – in partnership with the commercial teams of Amgen Switzerland – insightful market information/analysis which translate into meaningful sales forecasts. In particular, the successful candidate will become the primary partner for our internal clients in regards to providing useful market information respectively recommendations based on primary and secondary data sources. The job holder will be based in Rotkreuz, Switzerland.

Key Activities:

• Prepare and interpret sales and market analysis, enabling the organization to have overview of the local market insights from national, regional to brick level

• Facilitate the Market Research process and ensure compliance with the guidelines

• Proactively drive strategic and innovative ways to enhance the use of available primary and secondary data sources and transform data into practical information and recommendations

• Manage and assist in the development and improvement of the Amgen Switzerland Business Analytics and Competitive Intelligence (CI) Platform

• Handle the Competitive Intelligence (CI) process and participate in the European CI network

• Be responsible for planning process and facilitate new brand forecasts in accordance with the company processes and models

• Manage the review process of the Pricing Guidance & Policy

• Provide ad-hoc Analysis & Forecasts on request

• Prepare and evaluate Sales Incentive Plan (SIP) for sales teams

• Provide CRM support to sales teams and marketing

• Support sales teams in Plan of Action (POA) process

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in economics or equivalent qualification

• Relevant experience in a similar position, ideally in the pharmaceutical industry

• Strong analysis and numeric skills

• Expertise in analytical systems, e.g. MS Excel, VBA

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English as well as fluent in German

• Solid communicator with strong presentation skills

• Excellent interpersonal skills

• Natural ability to form positive relationships with and influence senior stakeholders
