National Train Driver
Tasks
- Driving fast freight trains from Wangen near Olten or Schafisheim
- Varied route journeys depending on language skills throughout Switzerland
- Operation of modern locomotives
- Train preparation and load control
- Execution of demanding shunting manoeuvres with innovative and modern vehicles
- Safe application and compliance with regulations, railCare/SBB-I implementation provisions and laws
Requirements
- Qualified train driver of category B
- Independent, flexible, responsible as well as high performance and commitment
- Willingness to work shifts, assignments from Mon-Sun, including public holidays
- Very good German skills in spoken and written form, French skills advantageous
- Technical understanding or training in a technical environment advantageous
- Willingness to expand personal expertise through further training
