Join the Foundation of Retirement Homes of the Aigle district, a humane institution with 240 employees managing 190 beds and 28 places in the Temporary Reception Centre (CAT). A major player in healthcare in the Vaud Chablais region, our foundation is constantly evolving, notably with the construction of a new facility in Bex planned for 2028. Your missions
Organise and guarantee the quality of care: Assess needs, plan, provide and supervise nursing care, ensuring its quality, safety and continuity.
Organise and coordinate care activities: Define priorities, coordinate the daily organisation of care and ensure appropriate support according to the evolution of residents’ health status.
Supervise and support the care team: Guide and oversee ASSC, health auxiliaries, students and trainees in their daily activities.
Coordinate care and collaborate within the network: Ensure liaison with the interdisciplinary team, attending physicians, families and external partners.
Ensure traceability and clinical follow-up: Guarantee quality of handovers, update care procedures and maintain the resident’s electronic file (Carefolio) rigorously.
Required profile
Interest in the elderly: Strong interest in geriatrics and psychogeriatrics; prior experience in a nursing home is an asset.
Interpersonal skills & Attitude: Calm, soothing character, ability to listen, take perspective and strong sense of responsibility.
Organisation and leadership: Ability to prioritise, coordinate care, support the team and make decisions adapted to clinical situations.
Team spirit: Ease in interdisciplinary collaboration and in relationships with residents, relatives and partners.
Digital skills: Proficiency with institutional IT tools and ease in managing the resident’s electronic file (DIR/Carefolio).
Education level
Bachelor HES-SO in Nursing required (or equivalence registered with the Swiss Red Cross).Additional training (an asset): Holder of a CAS (Trainer Practitioner, Psychogeriatrics, Palliative Care) or HPCI training.
