Official Veterinarian, Official Specialist 80-100 %
Exciting tasks await:
- Conducting primary production and animal welfare inspections in livestock holdings
- Issuing orders and criminal charges, drafting letters, reports, statements and permits
- Administrative management of files and database maintenance
- Correspondence with authorities and veterinarians
What you bring:
- Completed studies in veterinary medicine, biology or agronomy as well as further training as an official veterinarian or official specialist, or willingness to complete this
- Preferably several years of experience in animal welfare enforcement
- Confident appearance and assertiveness as well as the ability to remain calm and maintain an overview even in difficult situations, social skills, especially in dealing with animal owners
- Fluency in written and spoken expression
- Flexibility, sense of responsibility and resilience as well as enjoyment of independent work and teamwork
- Driving licence category B
