Exciting tasks await:

• Conducting primary production and animal welfare inspections in livestock holdings
• Issuing orders and criminal charges, drafting letters, reports, statements and permits
• Administrative management of files and database maintenance
• Correspondence with authorities and veterinarians

What you bring:

• Completed studies in veterinary medicine, biology or agronomy as well as further training as an official veterinarian or official specialist, or willingness to complete this
• Preferably several years of experience in animal welfare enforcement
• Confident appearance and assertiveness as well as the ability to remain calm and maintain an overview even in difficult situations, social skills, especially in dealing with animal owners
• Fluency in written and spoken expression
• Flexibility, sense of responsibility and resilience as well as enjoyment of independent work and teamwork
• Driving licence category B
