About the job
The Centre for Social Affairs is one of the largest associations of its kind in Switzerland. On behalf of 28 municipalities with a catchment area of over 100,000 people, we work with great commitment, low-threshold access, and networking in the following areas: Child and Adult Protection Authority (KESB), professional guardianship, social counselling, mother and father counselling, addiction counselling, and school social work.
Professional Guardian
We support people in cases of illness, disability, and crisis situations. We assist, accompany, and represent individuals in personal matters, in contact with authorities, and in everyday affairs. Case numbers according to the recommendation of the KOKES guidelines.

Your tasks
- Managing official mandates in child and adult protection
- Accompanying, advising, and representing our clients in personal, legal, and financial matters
- Interdisciplinary work with involved professionals, authorities, and institutions
Your profile
- Completed degree in social work, preferably with professional experience in child and adult protection
- Good knowledge of social insurance law
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Team spirit, humour, and a high degree of independence in autonomous work organisation
- High resilience, empathy, and interest in people in difficult life situations
