For our purchasing team, we are looking for a

Technical Purchaser 100% (m/f/d)

You are a strong negotiator with several years of experience in purchasing mechanical production parts. You are able to identify and utilize cost reduction potential and operate in both the Swiss and European procurement markets. Additionally, you are motivated and strive for a good and long-term partnership with our suppliers.

What you will do with us

• Purchasing of mechanical drawing parts: milling, turning, sheet metal as well as tool-bound parts
• Obtaining, evaluating, and negotiating offers
• Conducting price and condition negotiations
• Independent order processing including deadline monitoring
• Close cooperation with design, production, and quality assurance
• Technical clarification of drawings and requirements with suppliers
• Active identification of cost reduction potentials (e.g., alternative manufacturing processes, suppliers, batch sizes)
• Maintenance and further development of the supplier network (CH / EU / Eastern Europe)
• Coordination and mutual representation within the drawing parts purchasing team
• Active participation in the introduction of our ERP system (Microsoft Dynamics 365); initial experience with Dynamics 365 is an advantage

What you bring with you

• Basic training as a polymechanic, draftsman EFZ, with commercial or business management further training or professional experience as a purchaser or technical buyer
• Experience in purchasing drawing parts is mandatory
• Very good understanding of technical drawings: tolerances, surfaces, and manufacturability
• German and English, fluent in spoken and written
• Independent and team-oriented working style
• Loyal, committed, and resilient
• Good assertiveness and convincing negotiation skills
