Your tasks
The training, lasting 4 years, offered at HEIA-FR is available for the two job orientations: Application Development or Operations and Infrastructure. You can indicate your preference when submitting your application (for example in your cover letter). The apprenticeship follows the dual system (work in a company and professional courses at EPAI Fribourg alternately). Apprentices are required to follow the integrated technical professional maturity programme. We offer the opportunity to develop in a framework conducive to professional training. You will be accompanied and supported by experienced trainers, specialists in the profession. You will develop knowledge and skills aligned with the needs of the job market. At the end of your apprenticeship, you will have all the skills to find a job or start higher education.

Desired profile
- Compulsory schooling completed (pre-gymnasium or general section) with very good results in mathematics and languages. The final school leaving certificate is required to start the apprenticeship
- Motivation, eagerness to learn, patience and perseverance
- Interest in IT and new technologies
- Sense of organisation, responsibility and accuracy
- Proficiency in French or German with good knowledge of the other language. Knowledge of English would be an asset
