YOUR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
To succeed a long-standing specialist, we are seeking an experienced professional for the maintenance of our production equipment and machinery. Training will take place over an extended handover period by the current post holder.
- Implementation of planned maintenance according to the maintenance schedule as well as troubleshooting during ongoing operations
- Maintenance, servicing and repair of our production equipment and machinery: from welding and robot systems to surface treatment plants and machine tools
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving on mechanical systems as well as ensuring availability and operational readiness
- Participation in general operational maintenance of equipment and building infrastructure
- Deputising and assisting as needed in the workshop for manual welding machines (maintenance and recurring inspections)
- Ordering spare parts and contributing to sensible spare parts inventory management
- In-house production of spare parts that are no longer available or only with long delivery times
- Order and feedback recording as well as documentation of maintenance and inspection work in our IT systems
- Compliance with quality, occupational safety and environmental requirements; decommissioning of hazardous equipment and initiating defect rectification
YOUR PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
- Completed training as a polymechanic or machine mechanic with a federal certificate of competence (EFZ) or equivalent
- Several years of professional and industrial experience in the maintenance of production equipment and machinery
- Sound knowledge in mechanical processing and troubleshooting
- Willingness to train in the maintenance and inspection of welding equipment; relevant prior knowledge is an advantage
- Confident handling of IT systems for order and inspection documentation
- Strong sense of responsibility, initiative and problem-solving skills
- Communicative, team-oriented, implementation-strong, flexible and resilient
- Advantageous: experience in the maintenance of machining tools (portal milling machines)
