Location: Bulle and surroundings (Canton of Fribourg)

Contract type: Permanent or long-term assignment

Your mission:

Within a company active in the building or metal construction sector, you will be responsible for the fabrication, assembly, and welding of various metal elements.

Main activities:

• Carry out welding work according to TIG, MIG, MAG and/or electrode processes.

• Read and interpret technical plans and welding symbols.

• Prepare parts: marking, cutting, beveling, tack welding and degreasing.

• Ensure the assembly of metal structures, piping or locksmith parts in the workshop or on site.

• Perform quality control (visual and/or dye penetrant) and finishing (grinding, polishing).

• Strictly comply with current safety standards.

• You hold a Federal VET Diploma as a metal constructor, locksmith, or have equivalent confirmed experience.
• You have excellent command of one or more welding processes (MIG, MAG, TIG).
• Ideally, you possess up-to-date welding certifications (ISO 9606-1 or ISO 9606-2 standard).
• Reading plans holds no secrets for you.
• You are recognised for your precision, autonomy and rigour.
• You are in excellent physical condition for workshop and/or outdoor work.
• Possession of a driving licence and a vehicle is a major asset.
