As the only company in the country, Schweizer Zucker AG produces natural sugar from sugar beets. Sustainable processing also produces various animal feeds and pectin. Around 270 employees work at two locations in this interesting and versatile environment.

Your opportunities

• Development and implementation of cost-effective logistics concepts
• Développement et mise en œuvre de concepts logistiques économiques et rentables.
• Responsibility for cost- and resource-optimised rail loading planning
• Support of rail service providers and logistics organisations in preparing the campaign
• Definition of contractual details with all service providers under the best possible conditions
• Further development of digitalisation in beet logistics
• Ensuring communication with all parties involved
• Flexible problem-solving in case of deviations in day-to-day business
• Ensuring demand-oriented beet supply at the Aarberg plant
• Monitoring the transport process
• Checking and approving service providers’ invoices

Your profile

• Commercial employee with federal certificate of competence (EFZ), transport and logistics dispatcher, agro-technician, agronomist with business management further education (HF/FH) or comparable experience
• CFC d'employé(e) de commerce, Disponent(e) en transport et logistique, Technicien(ne) Agrotechnique, Agronome avec formation complémentaire en gestion d'entreprise (ES/HES) ou expérience équivalente
• Experience in rail freight transport / cargo desirable
• Connection to agriculture advantageous
• Leadership experience
• Team-oriented open personality with high customer orientation and initiative
• Networked thinking and acting
• Willingness to independently find solutions for complex tasks
• Flexibility for increased commitment during the beet campaign
• Very good language skills in German and French, spoken and written
• Willingness to travel to the other plant, to logistics partners and beet growing regions
