CFC Polymechanic (M/F)

Within our Sigma Temporary Industry & Technology department, we are pleased to collaborate with several renowned companies based in Valais and active in the fields of precision mechanics, machining, manufacturing industry, and advanced technologies. To meet their needs, we are actively seeking a:

Your responsibilities:

• Setting up, starting, and operating CNC machines (turning, milling, or machining centres)
• Manufacturing single parts, prototypes, or small to medium series
• Reading and interpreting technical plans and mechanical drawings
• Performing dimensional and quality checks on produced parts
• Programming and correcting CNC programmes according to production needs
• Selecting and preparing cutting tools
• Optimising manufacturing times and machining processes
• Participating in routine maintenance and first-level upkeep of equipment
• Adhering to tolerances, quality requirements, and manufacturing procedures
• Working closely with technical offices, production, and quality control

Your profile:

• CFC Polymechanic or equivalent training
• Proven experience in conventional and/or CNC machining
• Excellent proficiency in reading mechanical plans
• Good knowledge of turning, milling, and metrology techniques
• Proficient with measuring and control instruments (calipers, micrometers, dial gauges, etc.)
• Knowledge of CNC programming is a real asset
• Autonomous, rigorous, and quality-oriented individual
• Analytical mindset and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team
• Driving licence and vehicle are an advantage
