To strengthen our Swiss sales team, we are currently looking for a: <h1>Territory Manager Cardiology / LAA Occluder</h1>French-Speaking Switzerland RegionHome-office based, ideally residing within the territory The Territory Manager is responsible for the commercial management and development of all customers within the assigned territory. The primary objective of this role is to drive the adoption of cardiac occluder products, increase the utilization of Intracardiac Echocardiography (ICE), achieve sales targets, and protect and expand market share.Working closely with interventional cardiologists, electrophysiologists, and key stakeholders within hospitals, the Sales & Therapy Specialist identifies and develops business opportunities, supports clinical procedures, and contributes to optimizing patient outcomes.In addition, the Sales & Therapy Specialist serves as the primary point of contact for all commercial and technical activities within the assigned territory. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES<ul><li>Independently manage and develop all assigned customers and hospitals within the territory.</li><li>Achieve agreed sales objectives and drive market share growth.</li><li>Develop and implement account plans to increase procedural volumes and accelerate business growth.</li><li>Lead commercial negotiations, tenders, and procurement processes.</li><li>Represent and defend Abbott’s pricing and value strategy.</li><li>Analyze market and competitor activities and identify new business opportunities.</li><li>Build and maintain sustainable relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.</li><li>Coordinate and support local Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).</li><li>Promote the adoption of intraprocedural imaging solutions, particularly Intracardiac Echocardiography (ICE), and image-guided workflows.</li><li>Provide technical and clinical support during Left Atrial Appendage Closure (LAAC) procedures using cardiac occluder devices.</li><li>Support procedure planning, case reviews, and clinical decision-making processes.</li><li>Deliver product, therapy, and application training to physicians and catheterization laboratory teams.</li><li>Serve as a technical and clinical resource for cardiac imaging, with a focus on Intracardiac Echocardiography (ICE).</li><li>Support pre-procedural planning and intraprocedural imaging activities.</li><li>Collaborate closely with interventional cardiologists, electrophysiologists, and imaging specialists to optimize clinical workflows.</li><li>Act as a liaison between internal functions such as Clinical Studies, Sales, Customer Service, and Tender Management.</li><li>Maintain CRM/SFDC data and provide accurate sales and demand forecasts.</li><li>Manage consignment inventory and ensure product availability.</li></ul> REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS<ul><li>University degree in Life Sciences, Biomedical Sciences, Healthcare, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.</li><li>Several years of experience within the medical device industry.</li><li>Proven experience supporting interventional cardiology procedures.</li><li>Strong track record of collaboration with interventional cardiologists.</li><li>Experience with cardiac occluder therapies for Left Atrial Appendage Closure (LAAC).</li><li>Experience supporting procedures in the cardiac catheterization laboratory and/or hybrid operating room environment.</li><li>Knowledge of cardiac imaging workflows, including pre-procedural planning and intraprocedural imaging.</li><li>Experience working with electrophysiologists and electrophysiology programs is preferred.</li><li>Experience with Intracardiac Echocardiography (ICE) is an advantage.</li><li>Strong sales, negotiation, and presentation skills.</li><li>Demonstrated expertise in account management and business development.</li><li>Ability to develop and maintain long-term customer relationships.</li><li>Strategic mindset with strong market and competitive awareness.</li><li>High level of initiative, accountability, and autonomy.</li><li>Excellent communication and training skills.</li><li>Proficiency with CRM systems and sales processes.</li><li>Fluent German and English language skills, both written and spoken.</li></ul> WORKING AT ABBOTTAt Abbott, you can do work that matters, grow and learn, care for yourself and your family, be your true self, and live a full life.
