Télé-Thyon S.A. is a dynamic and rapidly expanding company, active in the field of ski lifts, accommodation rental, and catering.
A Head Waiter/Head Waitress
To complete its teams for the winter season 2026/2027, Télé-Thyon is looking for its "Catering" department:
Your duties:
- Welcome, seat and advise customers with professionalism and friendliness;
- Take orders, serve food and drinks, and oversee your section throughout the service;
- Ensure the quality of service and monitor customer satisfaction;
- Present the menu and advise customers;
- Handle payments according to current procedures;
- Set up, dress and clear tables;
- Participate in pre- and post-service briefings;
- Ensure effective communication with kitchen and dining teams to guarantee smooth service;
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining room, terraces, equipment and work areas;
- Assist with stocking workstations and organising goods;
- Apply hygiene, food safety rules and internal procedures;
- Participate in waste sorting according to the establishment's guidelines;
- Help clear snow from terraces and restaurant access when necessary;
- Report any malfunctions or special needs that may impact operations to management.
Your profile:
- Training or significant experience in catering professions;
- Previous experience as a Head Waiter/Head Waitress, experienced waiter/waitress or similar role;
- Excellent sense of hospitality and customer satisfaction;
- Good interpersonal skills and excellent presentation;
- Organisational skills, autonomy and rigour;
- Team spirit and good collaboration ability;
- Dynamism, versatility and stress resistance;
- Developed commercial sense;
- Mastery of dining service techniques;
- Good knowledge of hygiene and food safety rules;
- Good command of English;
- Interest in the mountain environment and knowledge of the ski area appreciated;
- Good skiing or snowboarding level allowing safe access to the workplace regardless of weather conditions.
