Your main tasks

• Leading and further developing a technical expert team in the field of Product Development (7–10 employees); responsibility for professional and personnel supervision
• Recruitment, coaching and targeted promotion of employees with a focus on competence building and long-term development
• Strengthening internal and external, customer-oriented project collaboration through clear communication and efficient processes
• Further development, harmonisation and standardisation of activities within the organisational unit to achieve product development and life-cycle management goals
• Definition of technical standards and ensuring the highest technical excellence in all product development projects
• Responsibility for planning and executing technical customer, development and organisational projects
• Representing the development department in customer acquisitions and technical expert discussions with leading global pharmaceutical customers

Your profile

• Completed engineering degree (FH/ETH/TU) in mechanical engineering, process engineering, medical technology or a comparable field
• Several years of experience in technical project management (>3 years), ideally with a focus on mechanics, plastics technology or medical technology
• Proven leadership experience (>2 years), combined with strong communication and motivational skills
• Confident appearance in customer support and negotiation, especially with international pharmaceutical partners regarding mechanical and plastics technology requirements
• Strong analytical thinking and the ability to quickly grasp and precisely convey complex technical contexts
• Fluent language skills in German (C1) and English (C1)
• Proven experience with development projects of autoinjectors (ISO standards 11608, 23908 and 10993) is an advantage
