Your scope of action
In this role, you will work directly on current and future military aircraft, primarily taking charge of the following tasks:
- Maintenance and modification work: performing scheduled maintenance operations, including replacement and inspection of avionics and electrical systems (instruments, electronics, radio and avionics)
- Repairs and fault finding: analysing error messages and diagnostic processes, including troubleshooting
- Modification and inspection missions: visual and functional checks after each flight (condition of the aircraft and systems)
- Documentation of work and quality management
- Participation in internal avionics training focused on safety and quality, within the framework of maintenance operations and ground support.
Your contribution
- Technical or electrotechnical vocational training with a Federal VET Diploma (automation technician, electronics technician, diagnostician or related field)
- Experience in aeronautics and/or automotive electrical systems is desirable but not required
- Excellent technical skills
- Proficiency in English allowing communication at B1/B2 level; for the Emmen site, knowledge of German is also desirable
- Category B driving licence
- High availability and flexibility (including possible shift work and on-call service)
- Stress-resistant personality, team spirit and a strong sense of responsibility, combined with a precise and quality-oriented working method
- Swiss nationality/citizenship (required to perform this role on a military basis)
