The company is currently seeking a Technical Director to structure and energise the technical and commercial functions. The new arrival will be responsible for overseeing product development, managing creative teams, and maintaining the profitability of commercial offers.
Your tasks with your new employer
- You lead product development and industrialisation activities, from the prototype phase to production launch, ensuring the achievement of quality, timing, and financial objectives defined with clients
- You manage with commitment the sales, prototype, and product development teams by structuring management rituals, harmonising priorities, and promoting smooth cross-departmental collaboration
- You ensure responsiveness to commercial requests while securing the profitability of proposed offers, annually negotiating material prices and optimising margins according to defined growth objectives
- You coordinate the design and realisation of development prototypes by integrating all technical, aesthetic, quality, cost, and timing constraints issued by clients and the group
- You guarantee the accuracy of technical, commercial, and supply chain data between internal systems and client portals, ensuring reliable communication at all hierarchical levels
- You regularly conduct continuous improvement actions based on the analysis of unmet client needs and monitoring of the department’s industrial performance indicators
You offer your new employer
- You have a technical or engineering education firmly rooted in manufacturing disciplines, ideally with a specialisation in product development or industrial methods
- You have significant professional experience in an equivalent technical management position in the manufacturing industry, preferably in the metalworking or precision mechanics sector
- You master English at a professional level, enabling effective communication with international clients and partners
- You excel in using computer-aided design software and enterprise management systems
- You embody natural leadership qualities, a capacity for empathetic listening, great rigour in process implementation, and a strategic vision combined with excellent interpersonal communication skills
