Position Overview:
The Admissions Director leads and manages all aspects of the admissions process, from inquiry through enrollment, ensuring a smooth, welcoming, and legally compliant experience for prospective families and students. Admissions Directors lead recruitment efforts within specific markets or regions of the world and demonstrate a commitment to the role of attracting students to LAS.
The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker, people-oriented, data-driven, and deeply committed to the mission and values of our institution. Most of all, the candidate should demonstrate character that aligns with the school’s mission of developing innovative, compassionate, and responsible citizens of the world through education. A motivated candidate who is keen to travel would be ideal for this role.

Qualifications/Education:
-
Bachelor's degree or higher education
-
Background in sales, marketing, and/or leadership
-
Excellent communication skills in English, Russian, and Spanish; French language skills are highly desirable

Swiss boarding and education experience; additional summer program experience strongly preferred

Strong interpersonal skills; team-oriented

Diligent and detail-oriented
Overall responsibilities:
-
Promote LAS within assigned geographic area/s, including regular travel to market regions
-
Organize and participate in events relating to marketing, admissions, development, and alumni relations
-
Proactively seeking and helping applicants, accepted and enrolled students, and their families
-
Participate actively in all areas of LAS life/community and be a positive role model in all aspects (abide by the expectations as outlined in the LAS Code of Conduct)

Fulfill professional responsibilities and conduct expectations according to the Staff Handbook and guidelines established by the administration

Reports to Director of Enrollment Management
Specific responsibilities:
-
Be the primary point of contact for students and families in the assigned region and collaborate with relevant departments to meet the needs of students and families

Support the LAS Councils, in particular the Parent Council
-
Promote to, maintain contact with, agents and representatives
-
Create a sales marketing plan and an annual budget
-
Collaborate on annual country and regional goals for all intakes and programs
-
Submit advanced planning for any trips to the assigned regions

Report activities within countries and regions
-
Closely work with regional agents and education consultants
-
Develop a vibrant network in the assigned region to help in the recruitment and retention of enrolled students

Collaborate with and support the work of the Advancement office to strengthen our alumni network, global events, and advancements of LAS across our market regions as needed

Represent LAS's interest and development in the assigned area

Support a holistic learning experience that meets the goals of the LAS Mission Statement, Philosophy, Objectives, Values, and Code of Conduct
-
Perform any related tasks as assigned by the Director of Enrollment Management and/or the Head of School, including but not limited to Orientation, Family Winter Week, Visits, Graduation, and like events.
