Job Description

As an Application Manager in Logistics, you are the link between our logistics and the logistics applications. You support the specialist departments at our locations in the implementation and improvement of logistics solutions. In doing so, you work with leading software products and advanced logistics concepts and systems such as WMS and automated warehouse systems. You offer our specialist departments at the EM locations sound advice and competent support in process definition and in setting and adhering to standards. You analyse the requirements from operational logistics and create the corresponding specifications for applications or interfaces, together with your colleagues from the process management team. Furthermore, you implement these specifications in collaboration with external service providers and IT. Your tasks also include support, testing, documentation and training. You work at the headquarters in Zurich-Altstetten and occasionally visit our Swiss locations.

Qualifications

You have a training or degree, e.g. in computer science with corresponding many years of practical experience or further training in logistics – or a solid logistics education, e.g. as a logistics specialist (with federal certificate), logistics manager or supply chain manager and leadership experience as well as extensive experience in logistics systems/tools and project management. You are solution-oriented, communicative and proactive in collaboration and in dealing with our internal customers as well as our suppliers. In addition, you have very good German and good English skills. Speaking French is an advantage.
