Your Tasks and Perspectives
- Overall professional responsibility for the radiology-specific IT landscape of the Radiology and Nuclear Medicine Network and its strategic direction, as well as disciplinary leadership of IT Radiology including team development
- Management of the application portfolio and ensuring a stable, secure, and economical IT operation in line with clinical requirements and the strategic development of the network
- Leading complex transformation projects as well as evaluating and introducing new technologies, especially Artificial Intelligence, as part of the continuous development of radiological care and IT landscape
- Sustainable further development of the IT Radiology area with responsibility for investment planning, contract, supplier, and escalation management
- Ensuring data protection and IT security as well as IT integration of new partner organisations and locations, thereby actively connecting clinic, technology, operations, and corporate development
What You Bring to This Position
- Solid IT education; ideally a university or university of applied sciences degree in medical informatics or a comparable field
- Several years of experience in healthcare, ideally in IT Radiology, with a strong understanding of clinical processes and requirements of a radiology-specific IT landscape
- Proven leadership of complex transformation and integration projects as well as solid experience in project management and implementation of strategic developments
- Good understanding of application and integration architectures, IT service management, data protection and information security, as well as the ability to connect clinical requirements with technological and operational frameworks
- Convincing communication, negotiation skills, and a confident manner, as well as the ability to win over different stakeholders for common solutions
