About the job

The Heilpädagogische Zentrum Hagendorn is specialized in the education and care of children and adolescents with cognitive and/or multiple impairments. In the orientation stage for adolescents aged approximately 15 to 18 years, individual engagement and preparation for adult life take place. The offer also provides a school and boarding place for adolescents in complex crisis situations and with challenging behaviors. To strengthen our team, we are looking for a committed specialist from June 1, 2026, or by arrangement.

Your Tasks

Comprehensive care and support of an adolescent with self- and externally injurious behavior in a 1:1 setting
Ensuring safety and protection in a secure environment
Close collaboration in the interdisciplinary team as well as exchange with the family and external specialists

Your Profile

Completed training in social pedagogy, curative education, FaBe, nursing professionals (HF/FH)
Enjoyment in dealing with complex care tasks, challenges, and crises
High motivation and experience in supporting children and adolescents with cognitive impairments as well as autism spectrum disorders and psychological impairments
Interest in individualized care settings and the search for new solutions
Resilient, innovative personality as well as a healthy sense of humor
