HES Educator – Support in Addictionology (M/F/D)

Persag SA is looking for one of its partners located in the Bernese Jura for a bilingual French–German HES educator, motivated to join an established team and support beneficiaries facing addiction issues.

Fluency in French and German is essential for this position.

Your profile

• HES social educator diploma, or an equivalent and recognised qualification in Switzerland.
• Essential fluency in French and German, both spoken and written, to communicate effectively with beneficiaries, colleagues and partners.
• Experience in socio-educational support for vulnerable individuals; experience with beneficiaries facing addiction issues is a significant advantage.
• Strong interest in the field of addictions and person-centred support approaches.
• Ability to establish a trusting relationship while maintaining a clear and secure professional framework.
• Good listening, observation and situation analysis skills.
• Ability to manage complex situations with perspective, emotional stability and discernment.
• Team spirit, collaborative attitude and ease in a multidisciplinary environment.
• Autonomous, organised, flexible personality with a strong sense of responsibility.
• Respect for confidentiality, dignity and the pace of each beneficiary.

Your mission

• Provide individualised socio-educational support, adapted to the needs, resources and pace of each beneficiary.
• Create and maintain a trusting relationship based on listening, respect, availability and a caring professional attitude.
• Support beneficiaries in developing and maintaining their autonomy, taking into account their abilities and personal situation.
• Participate in the development, implementation and monitoring of individualised support projects.
• Assist beneficiaries with daily life activities and procedures, encouraging their participation and responsibility.
• Identify the needs, resources and difficulties of the supported individuals, then adapt educational interventions accordingly.
• Promote stabilisation, social reintegration and maintenance of social ties, according to objectives defined with each beneficiary.
• Manage delicate or unforeseen situations calmly, with discernment and professionalism.
• Work closely with educational team members, health professionals and network partners.
