Function

Tasks

• Responsible for the procurement of technical materials, components and services
• Obtain, compare offers and select suitable suppliers
• Conduct price and contract negotiations independently
• Maintain and further develop existing supplier relationships
• Monitor delivery dates and availability and initiate appropriate measures in case of deviations
• Maintain and update purchasing and material data in the SAP system
• Analyse market and cost developments and identify optimisation potentials
• Participate in projects to improve procurement processes and cost structures
• Close cooperation with internal departments such as production, engineering, logistics and quality assurance

Requirements

• Completed technical or commercial training, ideally supplemented by further training in purchasing
• Several years of experience in technical purchasing, preferably in an industrial environment
• Good knowledge of procurement, supplier management as well as price and contract negotiations
• Very good user knowledge of SAP, especially in the area of materials management
• Confident handling of common MS Office programmes
• Fluent German skills and good English skills are mandatory
• Structured, independent and solution-oriented working style
• Strong cost awareness, negotiation skills and assertiveness
• Communicative and team-oriented personality
