Responsibilities:
Independent care of pneumological patients in inpatient and outpatient settings
Treatment of a broad spectrum – from common pneumological diseases to complex and rare conditions
Professional leadership of an interdisciplinary lung ward in close cooperation with internal medicine and thoracic surgery
Participation in specialised pneumological clinics and interdisciplinary boards
Active involvement in the further development of key pneumological focuses, especially:
Interstitial lung diseases
Lung transplantation
Bronchial asthma
COPD
Work in interventional pneumology and sleep medicine
Activity in general pneumological outpatient clinic as well as in insurance medicine
Active participation in medical training and continuing education
Supervision and promotion of assistant physicians
Development and implementation of own clinical research projects
Opportunity to establish your own scientific focus
Active shaping of the professional and strategic development of pneumology
Qualifications:
Completed FMH specialist title in pneumology or an equivalent qualification recognised in Switzerland
Proven clinical expertise in pneumology
Experience in a specialised pneumological environment is an advantage
Interest in the further development of modern pneumological treatment concepts
Enjoyment of interdisciplinary collaboration with various medical specialties
Strong communication and leadership skills
Commitment and enthusiasm for teaching, continuing education and clinical research
Willingness to take responsibility for the further development of a specialised pneumological service
A habilitation with own research area is desirable
Very good German skills in spoken and written form, at least C1 level
