Permanent Union Representative 80-100%

Your tasks

• Create and support networks of activists
• Establish contacts with employees and staff committees
• Recruit members
• Develop the union in the field of new technologies
• Develop and implement union campaigns
• Monitor and enforce collective labor agreements
• Negotiate working conditions with employer parties
• Assume union office hours
• Support/represent our members with employers or at labor courts

What you bring

• Professional experience in an industrial sector or strong interest in the sector
• Knowledge of political or social activities in the Côte region
• Car and category B driving license
• Basic knowledge of labor law and social insurance
• Ability to converse with people from very different backgrounds
• Initiative, you are an engaged, imaginative, and responsible personality with persuasive power
• Ability to work independently while being comfortable in a team
• Excellent knowledge of French (spoken and written) and good knowledge of English
• Excellent knowledge of computer tools: MS Office
