What to expect

• You lead the employees of the application review team both professionally and personally
• You are responsible for the medical risk assessment for private and corporate clients as well as the review and enforcement of notification obligation breaches
• You manage the annual application controlling for private clients and ensure its continuous development
• You actively contribute to the further development of our risk assessment systems and accompany the introduction, testing, and acceptance of new software solutions
• You participate in projects, represent the interests of the application review, and work closely with relevant departments and stakeholders
• You analyse key figures and statistics and derive concrete improvement measures from them

What you bring

• Commercial basic training or a comparable qualification as well as medical training or further education (as MPA, Medical Secretary H+ or comparable)
• Extensive experience in assessing medical risks, ideally in the health insurance sector
• Several years of leadership experience as well as the ability to develop employees and achieve goals together
• Strong analytical and conceptual thinking, high decision-making ability as well as a goal-, strategy- and solution-oriented working style
• Initiative, assertiveness and negotiation skills as well as strong communication and conflict resolution skills
• Enjoyment of cross-departmental collaboration, flexibility and resilience even in demanding situations
