As a fixed-term maternity cover, you will support our team in the day structure at the Heilpädagogisches Zentrum Hohenrain. Together with experienced professionals, you will create a varied and enriching daily routine for children and young people with special needs and contribute to promoting their independence and development.
Your tasks
- You accompany and care for children and young people with cognitive impairments in the day structure and support them in organising their daily lives as independently as possible.
- You take on nursing tasks and also assist with household chores.
- Together with your team, you ensure a structured and appreciative atmosphere in which the children feel safe and comfortable.
- With your ideas, you bring variety to everyday life and contribute to organising leisure activities and shared experiences.
- You work during school weeks on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from 11:00 am to approx. 5:30 pm.
Your profile
- You have completed vocational training and already have some practical experience in care.
- You are enthusiastic about working with children with cognitive impairments and increased nursing needs and respond to their individual needs with pleasure.
- You meet the children at eye level, laugh with them and challenge them to surpass themselves.
- The team looks forward to a curious, upbeat colleague who wants to make a difference together.
- Good German skills in spoken and written form as well as confident handling of common IT applications complete your profile.
