Role:
In this role, you are responsible for establishing, professionally and organisationally leading a pelvic floor centre and shaping its strategic development. You run your own clinic, actively participate in the operating programme and the interdisciplinary pelvic floor board, and work closely with urology, surgery, and other departments. Additionally, you lead and support assistant and specialist doctors and engage in internal and external training events. You hold a specialist title in gynaecology and obstetrics with a focus on operative gynaecology and obstetrics, and ideally a (forthcoming) subspecialty title in urogynaecology or an equivalent foreign qualification. Entrepreneurial thinking, leadership skills, strong teamwork, resilience, enthusiasm for innovation, and very good German language skills complete your profile.
Responsibilities:
- In this role, you assume overall medical responsibility for the pelvic floor medicine department.
- You ensure high-quality, guideline-compliant diagnostics and therapy for patients with pelvic floor disorders.
- As Medical Director of Pelvic Floor Medicine, you coordinate interdisciplinary collaboration with gynaecology, urology, surgery, physiotherapy, and other departments.
- You continuously develop medical treatment concepts and professional standards and implement new scientific findings in clinical practice.
- In this role, you promote the training and further education of medical and non-medical staff in the field of pelvic floor medicine.
- You represent the department internally and externally, participate in specialist committees, and support the development and profiling of the pelvic floor medicine focus area.
Qualifications:
- You have several years of professional experience at a professional level in a comparable role.
- You demonstrate an independent, structured, and reliable working style.
- You communicate confidently both orally and in writing and present yourself professionally to internal and external contacts.
- You are accustomed to taking responsibility and making well-founded decisions in your field.
- You enjoy working in a team, contribute your own ideas, and support constructive collaboration.
- You are motivated to continuously deepen your expertise and develop professionally.
