Senior System Engineer - Linux

ELCA Cloud Services is your central point of contact for the entire spectrum of IT infrastructure services, from consulting, architecture, integration, migration to operation and maintenance. For our location in Bern we are looking for a Senior IT Technician with a focus on Microsoft technologies.

Your task

• You are responsible for the implementation and integration of the selected solutions to meet the requirements of the security network
• You are responsible for the operation and maintenance of Microsoft operating system solutions
• You are responsible for the development and optimization of automation solutions and processes 
• You are responsible for ensuring the availability of IT services in test, integration, and production environments.
• You are responsible for the support, monitoring, and optimization of the assigned IT service as well as the resolution of events, incidents, and problem situations

Your profile

• Several years of experience as an IT technician with a focus on Microsoft technologies
• Expertise in designing, implementing, and updating Microsoft platforms and solutions such as Windows Server, Active Directory, Exchange Server, etc. 
• Knowledge in creating system documentation and training for employees to ensure effective use and management of Microsoft technologies
• Experience in regular maintenance, updating, patch management, and troubleshooting of Microsoft systems to ensure continuous and secure performance 
• The following certifications are a big plus: AZ-800 and/or Hermes
• Willingness to perform on-call duty and work on-site at the customer
• Fluent in German and English, French is an advantage
