Warehouse Worker Late Shift, Sorter 50% Workload - Wittenwil
Job Description
Sorting parcels - consignments are divided according to destination region, route, or mode of transport. This takes place on conveyor belts or sorting systems.Loading and unloading vehicles - delivery vans are efficiently and safely loaded and unloaded with parcels.
Scanning and checking - each parcel is recorded with a handheld scanner to ensure it can be correctly tracked in the system.
Quality and safety checks - identifying and reporting damaged or incorrectly labelled parcels.
Preparing for delivery - parcels are prepared so that drivers can quickly take them on their routes.
General warehouse organisation - maintaining order, keeping work areas clean, replenishing materials.
