We are looking for a highly skilled Technician to join our precision machining team. Your expertise in sinker EDM will be essential to produce complex components in demanding materials, adhering to very strict tolerances.
Specialised Technician in Sinker EDM M/F
-Programming and setup: Independently programme, set up and operate our sinker EDM machines.-Work preparation: Identify electrode requirements, prepare machining setups and select optimal machining parameters.
-Precision machining: Perform complex machining operations or delicate geometries.
-Quality control: Conduct rigorous dimensional checks of produced parts using measuring instruments (height gauges, CMM, etc.) to ensure compliance with drawings and quality standards.
-Maintenance: Carry out first-level maintenance of equipment and ensure cleanliness of the work area.
-Continuous improvement: Participate in optimising machining processes and working methods.
We expect:
Education: Ideally holding a diploma in machining / precision mechanics (CFC, BTS, DUT, Vocational Baccalaureate or equivalent).
Experience: Minimum [3 to 5] years of significant experience as an operator/programmer on sinker EDM machines.
Technical skills:
Mastery of reading complex technical drawings.
In-depth knowledge of EDM principles and dielectric fluids.
Experience with CNC controls [e.g. Heidenhain, Fanuc, AgieVision]
Knowledge of CAM is a plus
