Medical Secretary in the Endocrinology, Diabetology and Metabolism Department
The Endocrinology, Diabetology and Metabolism Department is seeking a medical secretary at a 60% workload, for an indefinite duration. The starting date is scheduled for 1 November 2026.
Context
The Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV) is one of the 5 Swiss university hospitals. Thanks to its collaboration with the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of the University of Lausanne and EPFL, CHUV plays a leading role in medical care, medical research and education.
Attached to the CHUV Department of Medicine, the Endocrinology, Diabetology and Metabolism Department specialises in endocrinology, diabetes, lipids, obesity as well as eating behaviour and nutrition disorders. Our approach is multidisciplinary, patient-centred, with cutting-edge clinical practice based on the latest advances in medical research.
Mission
You ensure the medical secretariat for outpatient consultations
You manage medical reports, certificates and correspondence
You handle calls, emails and secretariat mail
You ensure administrative follow-up and billing of files
- You update, file and archive patient records
You work closely with doctors and department staff.
Profile
You hold a medical secretary diploma or equivalent training
You have proven experience in medical secretariat
You have excellent oral and written French skills
You are comfortable with common office software
- You demonstrate rigour, autonomy and discretion
You have a sense of organisation and teamwork
You have a strong sense of responsibility and can handle a heavy workload.
