Your Tasks
- Medical initial assessment and treatment of patients with acute orthopaedic and traumatological conditions
- Documentation of treatments and ensuring consistently high quality
- Interprofessional collaboration with the specialised nursing team and other departments (Orthopaedics, Radiology, etc.) to provide the best possible patient care
- Supervision and development support for students and assistant physicians
- Participation in the further development of clinical processes and quality standards in the department, such as establishing a Fast Track at Balgrist
- Deputising for the medical management of the specialist emergency department in professional and leadership matters
Your Profile
- Interdisciplinary focus on clinical emergency medicine SGNOR
- FMH specialist title in orthopaedic surgery and traumatology of the musculoskeletal system, general internal medicine, or surgery
- Mebeko recognition if the diploma was obtained abroad
- Independent, structured, and responsible working style for the benefit of patients
- Solution-oriented personality with enthusiasm for interdisciplinary collaboration
