On behalf of the client, we are looking for a technically skilled individual for the development and design of machines and technical assemblies. You will accompany development projects from the concept phase through design to technical implementation, working closely with production and other departments. The focus is on mechanical engineering, CAD-based design and product optimisation. The position offers a technically demanding environment with innovative mechanical solutions.
Responsibilities:
Development and design of machines, assemblies and mechanical components
Creation and processing of 3D CAD models, technical drawings and parts lists
Elaboration and evaluation of technical concepts and design variants
Conducting feasibility analyses and technical clarifications
Accompanying prototype construction, testing and optimisation up to series maturity
Optimising existing products in terms of function, manufacturability, cost and quality
Technical collaboration with production, purchasing, assembly and suppliers
Creation and maintenance of technical documentation and product data
Support in the introduction and further development of new products and machines
Analysis and implementation of design and process improvements
Qualifications:
Completed degree in Mechanical Engineering FH/ETH or Technician HF Mechanical Engineering
Several years of experience in product development, design or mechanical engineering
Solid knowledge of 3D CAD and technical drawings
Experience in the development of machines and mechanical assemblies
Good knowledge of materials technology, manufacturing technology and design
Experience with PDM/PLM systems is an advantage
Very good German skills and good English skills
