Physiotherapist in the Women-Mother-Child Department

To strengthen our team, the Women-Mother-Child Department (DFME) of the CHUV is looking for

a physiotherapist with a workload between 70 and 100%, starting 1 November 2026.

This position allows you to work in a university hospital environment, at the heart of specialised care for women and children.

Context

The Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV) is one of the five Swiss university hospitals. Thanks to its collaboration with the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of the University of Lausanne and EPFL, it plays a leading role in medical care, research and education.

The Women-Mother-Child Department (DFME) brings together the services of gynaecology, obstetrics, neonatology, paediatrics and surgery for children and adolescents. More than 1,500 professionals work there daily to ensure comprehensive, specialised and multidisciplinary care for women and children, from birth to adolescence.

Mission

• You carry out physiotherapy therapeutic activities in the various sectors covered by the team, including hospitalisation, intensive care, continuous care, the recovery room and emergencies
• You also work in the fields of gynaecology, maternity and postpartum care
• You provide services with irregular hours (day, evening, night, weekend) for the entire department.

Profile

• You hold a HES Physiotherapist Diploma or an equivalent qualification, with mandatory Swiss Red Cross recognition
• You have experience in paediatric physiotherapy in acute care, an advantage
• You are dynamic, organised, rigorous and have good adaptability skills
• You enjoy teamwork and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Depending on your profile, the salary scale is between levels 8 and 9.
