What you will do here
The Grants Hub BFH is a network of experts at the departments and central contact points of BFH, which supports researchers in acquiring and managing third-party funded projects.
- Advise researchers on funding applications to SNF/Innosuisse (suitability of the funding instrument, review of applications, clarifications with the funding organization)
- Develop training and advisory materials for researchers and research managers of the BFH departments, power user of the Research Information System of BFH
- Collaborate with actors of the Grants Hub BFH (controlling/specialist units) in preparing information, developing BFH-wide procedures
- Represent BFH at the two funding organizations
- Develop strategic recommendations for BFH on dealing with developments in funding instruments
What you ideally bring
- Completed university degree, preferably with a doctorate or experience in research management
- Knowledge of the Swiss funding landscape, especially SNF and Innosuisse
- Service orientation, solution-oriented communication, and good presentation skills
- Very good analytical skills as well as a structured, independent working style even under time pressure
- Very good German and English skills; French skills are an advantage
