Transport Dispatcher for General Cargo and TKA 100% (m/f/d)

What is my role?

Our client is looking for a committed transport dispatcher for general cargo and TKA, who will take on the following tasks:

• Planning and coordination of all transport processes for deliveries and collections in compliance with economic requirements and legal frameworks

• Optimal route planning to minimise driving distances and maximise vehicle utilisation, taking available resources into account

• Continuous monitoring of timely order processing based on feedback from drivers and customers

• Professional and organisational leadership of the assigned driving personnel

• Issuing instructions regarding vehicle cleaning and carrying out corresponding checks

• Participation in audits in close coordination with fleet management

• Handling and clarification of damage and loss reports together with the service centre

• Telephone customer notification and transport registration in cooperation with administration

• Proactive customer information in case of deviations from the planned process or delayed deliveries

• Responding to price enquiries in close collaboration with the sales team within the scope of competencies

• Complete and accurate recording and maintenance of all transport orders in the IT system, including timely updates in case of changes

What do I need to be successful?

Our client is looking for a person with a completed vocational training, with training as a Transport & Logistics Dispatcher being particularly valued. Several years of practical experience in the transport sector are required. A driving licence category C/E is an advantage.

Language-wise, we expect confident communication skills in German and French ????, both spoken and written. Knowledge of Italian ?? is a plus.

In the IT area, practical user knowledge of IT applications, especially Office programmes, as well as advanced commercial basic knowledge are required.
