Tasks
As a construction manager in the infrastructure sector, you are responsible for the structural maintenance of public playgrounds, green spaces, and school facilities as well as outdoor and bicycle parking facilities. You plan and oversee minor renovation measures on traffic areas and wastewater systems and ensure their professional execution. In doing so, you coordinate the work with internal and external parties and ensure compliance with applicable standards, regulations, and quality requirements. Additionally, you supervise the work on site and contribute significantly to the safe and sustainable maintenance of public infrastructure.
Expectations
You have completed training as a civil engineering technician TS with professional experience, as a draughtsperson EFZ specialising in civil engineering, or as a construction foreman SBA or HFP. You bring several years of professional experience and have knowledge in general civil engineering. You are skilled in oral and written communication with authorities and private individuals, as well as being a team player and resilient. Furthermore, you are proficient with common IT applications such as Office 365; CAD knowledge is an advantage. Your negotiation skills, sociability, assertiveness, and organisational talent complete your profile.In addition to contemporary employment conditions, this role offers an interesting and varied working day with plenty of creative freedom, personal responsibility, and short decision-making paths within a motivated team. Your workplace is located in the well-connected centre of the city of Olten (Town Hall).
