About the job
In this role, you are responsible for the production of product samples. Your main tasks can be summarised as follows:
- Manufacture of prototype and product samples using laboratory-scale production techniques
- Independent organisation of orders for the production of prototype and product samples regarding process and execution in consultation with other departments and the client
- Technical clarifications and optimisation of individual production steps for the manufacture of product samples
- Maintenance of equipment under the responsibility of prototype manufacturing
- Support in analytics and characterisation
- Documentation of results and methods
To accomplish these tasks, you bring:
- Technical vocational training or comparable education in the fields of measurement technology, coating technology, optics, physics, chemistry, etc.
- In-depth knowledge or verifiable practical experience in one or more of the following areas is advantageous:
- Photolithographic work
- Wet coating methods
- Analytical methods (IR microscopy, DSC, goniometry) - Manual dexterity and experience in operating equipment
- High degree of independence and structured approach
