Exciting tasks await:

• Handling admissions and releases of male remand and sentenced prisoners
• Supervision and care of prisoners
• Implementation of instructions and safety regulations
• General cleaning duties as well as inspections and enforcement of internal hygiene regulations
• Completion of various administrative and operational tasks

What you bring:

• Completed 3- to 4-year vocational training EFZ and several years of professional experience. Due to the current team composition, one candidate is preferred
• Willingness to work irregular hours in a 24-hour operation (including night shifts and weekend duties)
• High resilience, composure and ability to work in a team
• Understanding and tolerance in dealing with people of different backgrounds

Your working environment

At the Office for the Enforcement of Sentences , the institutions and services are united that primarily deal with criminal and measure enforcement and thus contribute to societal security.

This also includes the District Prisons section with prisons at the four locations Aarau, Baden, Kulm and Zofingen. The staff ensure the enforcement of remand custody, short prison sentences, early commencement of sentences and semi-liberty. The compliant and secure accommodation and care of prisoners is paramount.
