Welding Technician 100% (m/f/d)

What is my role?

• You make decisions and coordinate the planning, execution and monitoring of welded constructions according to DIN EN ISO 14731

• You check the technical feasibility and assess manufacturing requirements

• You qualify welders and machine operators and keep them up to date

• You plan, maintain and evaluate the operating equipment in production

• You develop and qualify welding procedures as well as welding and work instructions

• You monitor and inspect the work in all phases of the welding process

• You analyse deviations and initiate effective corrective measures

• You ensure seamless traceability and create meaningful quality reports

• You produce welding drawings and support colleagues from other departments

• You actively contribute ideas for process and quality optimisation and implement them

What do I need to be successful?

You bring the following to the team:

• A completed technical training in the metal sector - your solid foundation

• Qualification as a welding technician (WT) or at least as a welding specialist (WS)

• Practical experience in welding rail vehicles according to EN 15085

• Confident handling of construction and welding of aluminium

• Ideally experience in sheet metal processing

• Proficient use of IT tools, especially MS Office

• Independent action and self-organised work

• Communication skills, team spirit and attention to detail

• Enthusiasm for practical, quality-conscious work
