Caretaker / Sexton (30%)
The Church District Eleven with an urban character in Zurich North belongs to the Zurich Church Community and includes the districts of Affoltern and Seebach. As a committed addition to the caretaker/sexton team, we are looking for you immediately or by arrangement as
Your tasks
- Ensuring a smooth, dignified, and safe conduct of all services, funerals, and events as an essential contribution to the spiritual and practical life in the church district
- Control and operation of technical systems and infrastructure
- Maintenance and basic cleaning of properties including surrounding work
- Operation and maintenance of cleaning machines, devices, and infrastructure items
- Deputy tasks within the team
- Implementation of safety regulations (fire safety regulations)
Your profile
- Technical basic training or extensive experience in building technology, cleaning work, and as a host/hostess
- Willingness to complete the sexton course
- Neat appearance, impeccable manners, and good German skills in spoken and written form
- Independent, reliable, and service-oriented working style
- Positive attitude towards the Reformed Church
