The main department Environment, Forest and Energy deals with all topics related to environmental protection, protection against natural hazards, forest, hunting, fishing as well as climate change, energy and sustainability. We advise municipalities, institutions, companies and private individuals in these areas and are the approval authority.
We are looking for a
Commercial Clerk Forest 60 %
from 1 December 2026 or by arrangement with workplace in Glarus.
Tasks
- Ensuring efficient, reliable and customer-oriented administrative support of the main department Environment, Forest and Energy with the main area of activity in the Forest and Natural Hazards department
- Relieving the department management and the forest and natural hazards specialists organisationally and administratively
- Supporting the administration in the area of hunting and fishing
- Management and organisation of the secretariat, handling of telephone calls, e-mails and correspondence as well as invoices
- Counter service according to deployment plan
Requirements
- Commercial or equivalent training
- Several years of experience in secretarial or administrative area
- Good German skills in spoken and written form
- Good user knowledge of MS Office and willingness to familiarise yourself with specialised applications
- Independent, structured and reliable way of working
- Good communication and team skills
